🏛️ State License Law 📍 Michigan

📖 What you need to know

Michigan requires sellers of most residential property (one-to-four units) to give buyers a Seller's Disclosure Statement describing the known condition of the home. Separately, licensees must deliver the agency disclosure at the appropriate time and disclose material facts and known defects they are aware of. Federal lead-based paint disclosure also applies to homes built before 1978, and licensees must avoid misrepresentation under Michigan law.
