🏛️ State License Law 📍 Missouri

📖 What you need to know

In Missouri, brokers must deposit earnest money and other client funds into a separate escrow or trust account and keep them apart from personal or business operating funds, with commingling prohibited. Missouri real estate licenses are renewed on a two-year cycle, and licensees must complete continuing education to renew. Marriage in Missouri does not create community property because Missouri is a separate-property (common-law) state, so property ownership and disclosure rules follow that framework.
