🏛️ State License Law 📍 GeorgiaThe Georgia Real Estate Commission (GREC) enforces the state license law by investigating complaints and disciplining licensees who violate it. Available sanctions range from a reprimand or fine (citation) to suspension or revocation of a license, and GREC may also impose probation or require additional education. Georgia further maintains a Real Estate Education, Research and Recovery Fund that can reimburse consumers for qualifying losses caused by a licensee's fraud or conversion of funds. A licensee whose conduct triggers a payment from the Fund is suspended until that amount is repaid with interest.
